The Chain of Survival
Five links. Break one, and the rest stop mattering.
Survival from cardiac arrest depends on a sequence, not a single skill. Our courses teach the links a bystander actually owns — the first four happen long before a paramedic reaches the door.
Recognize
Identify arrest and choking fast, and know when not to wait.
Call
Activate emergency response and direct the people around you.
Compress
High-quality CPR on adults, children and infants.
Defibrillate
Operate an AED confidently and integrate it with compressions.
Hand Off
Brief arriving responders clearly and keep yourself protected.
Programs
Five disciplines, one standard.
CPR & AED
Adult, child, infant and choking response, plus defibrillator operation. Certified through A.S.H.I.

Course details →The Instructor
Taught by the person who founded it.
Jason Katz started Circle of Lifesaving in January 2000 to teach what he calls the “Absolute Art” of CPR and lifesaving — thorough, hands-on, and built on first-hand experience rather than a slide deck. Every class is taught by him, not subcontracted out.
Knowledge is everything, and thoroughness is a very high priority in our teachings. Students get updated information, books, working examples, real equipment, and an easygoing environment to learn in.

How Training Works
We bring the equipment. You bring a bottle of water.
On-site or in-house
We bring every educational tool to your office, school or facility — or you train at ours. The best rooms have plenty of light and air conditioning.
Discounts that compound
Ten-student minimum. Booking multiple classes lowers the per-student rate, and returning each year earns 10% cumulatively — up to 30% off.
Card and certificate
Every student leaves with a certification card and a certificate. Training may also be applied toward Continuing Education Units.
Learning this gives you the choice about whether to help. It also gives you the confidence to want to.Jason Katz, Founder
